We recognise more and more local families are struggling, with economic conditions set to worse.
We are funded through National Lottery (Community Fund, Tudor Trust and John Moores Foundation) to work alongside families and individuals to address the challenges associated with energy poverty, hunger and the damaging pressures on income from rising inflation and declining incomes. We see relationships being squeezed as domestic circumstances deteriorate.
Our Family Team work with parents and children on a range of interventions to support domestic and relational challenges without stigma and in confidence. We offer ‘early-help’ through specialist staff and collaborate to build firm foundations and build hope.
Social anxiety is increasing as we see many experiencing deteriorating mental health. We provide warm and safe spaces with activities focusing on bringing people together.
Our welfare rights service covers every aspect of debt and income maximisation and we work closely with housing associations and landlords.
Included in our offer is:
- Membership based Food Larder
- A clothes bank
- Crisis support
- Access to children and young peoples projects
- Early Help
