The room is equipped with a variety of facilities designed to encourage young people to get involved, have fun and enjoy time with friends. Facilities currently include a table tennis table, pool tables and a range of other activities, giving young people plenty of opportunities to get active, develop new skills and simply enjoy themselves.
The Youth Club was established to provide local teenagers with a positive place to meet and socialise. It gives young people the opportunity to spend time with friends in a safe and supervised environment, while helping to reduce the amount of time they may otherwise spend hanging around on the streets.
We believe that having access to a clean, warm and welcoming space can make a real difference to young people. The Youth Room provides somewhere they can feel comfortable, meet others, build friendships and take part in activities in a positive setting.
Whether they want to challenge their friends to a game of pool, have a go at table tennis or simply spend time together, the Youth Room offers a relaxed environment where young people can enjoy themselves and feel part of their local community.
