Sessions provide inclusive and stimulating activities based on the needs of children and young people and address development risk and social protection. Children and young people have access to snacks and cooking activities, experimenting with a diverse range of spices, herbs and vegetables.
Art/craft, Lego and board games are always popular with all ages, encouraging social and emotional interaction as well as sharing and team work.
Targeted sessions are based on various topics and discussed within small or large groups, the work is supported with story boards which represent the individual things each young person likes, including what they do as a past time, places they like to go, foods they like to eat and even down to things that are important to them for example family, morals and values. Work is displayed around the centre. Young people voluntary make a choice on discussion topics and produce various reflective artwork such as visions boards, representing the types of dreams and aspirations each young person has.
