We’ve got some lovely news to share, Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre has received a £500 grant to put towards our community shop.
And honestly, we’re really grateful.
The shop is something we’re proud to have here at the Centre. It’s there to support local people and give our community access to things they may need, without it feeling like just another service. It’s part of what makes the Centre feel like a place for everyone.
This £500 will help us with the shop and, most importantly, help us continue making it useful for the people who come through our doors.
It might sound like a small amount, but we know how far £500 can go when you’re running a community service. It can help us keep the shelves stocked, make improvements where they’re needed and put a little more back into something that local people use and value.
Receiving the grant is fantastic, but knowing that someone has taken the time to support what we do and believes in the difference it can make to local people means even more.
So, from all of us here at Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre, thank you. Thank you for supporting our shop, for supporting the work we do and, most importantly, for supporting the people in our community.
We’ll make sure the £500 is put to good use and helps us continue doing what we’re here to do, supporting local people and making a difference, one little thing at a time.
